Paige Klingensmith's hat trick led the host Bulldogs to a Division I, Cleveland 1 sectional title Thursday.
Kailey Hobart and Mallory Fischer also netted a goal against the Hilltoppers.

The seventh-seeded Panthers (14-3) took a Division II, Akron 4 sectional final with a last-second goal by Camryn Emerling to advance to district play. Emerling scored with three seconds left in the game on a direct free kick from 25 yards out on her home turf.
Revere 4, Cloverleaf 0
Revere's Morgan Fee scored two goals, and Mia Fourtounis and Lily Hughes each added in one goal in a Division II, Akron 4 sectional final at home.
Copley 2, St. Vincent-St. Mary 0
Michele Hofacker tied the Copley school mark with her 11th shutout of the season and in a Division II, Akron 3 sectional final win at home. Copley's defensive back line of Gabby Niemczura, Kami Ayoup, Colleen Bauer, Sydney Leach and Hailey Himmelreich kept the Irish (6-9-2) from getting off a shot on goal.
Sophomores Emily Kerekes and Kate Young each scored a goal for the fifth-ranked Division II team in the state. Ashley Kerekes and Bauer had assists for Copley (12-2-4).
Oberlin Firelands 1, CVCA 0
Ariannah Floyd scored a goal in the second half to lift the host Falcons to a win in a Division II, Akron 3 sectional final.
Jackson 4, Louisville 0
Marysa Starcher scored two goals for host Jackson (13-4-0) a Division I, Cleveland 1 sectional final. Addie Niemi and Rachel Maghes finished out the scoring for the Polar Bears and keeper Rachel Nobe turned away one shot to earn the shutout.
Green 4, Mayfield 2
Payton Pianelli put host Green ahead two minutes into a Division I, Cleveland 1 sectional final. Reese Lipscomb, Lauren Leemaster and Sydney Shocklee also scored a goal to help Green advance to Monday's district semifinal against Jackson.
Walsh Jesuit 9, Ellet 2
Reagan Pentz scored four goals and Hannah Pachan scored three goals to lead host Walsh past Ellet (16-2-1) in a Division I, Cleveland 2 sectional final. Kennedy Alberty and Allie Drake also netted a goal for the Warriors.
Archbishop Hoban 2, Perry 0
Lauren Mahoney and Ava Lucey each scored a goal to lead the host Knights (9-8-0) past the Panthers (5-9-4) in a Division I, Cleveland 3 sectional final. Emma Rasmussen and Ariana Mahoney each had an assist, and Gracie Brink made one save.
Hudson 1, Painesville Riverside 0
Peyton Pierce scored a goal to propel Hudson to a Division I, Cleveland 3 sectional title.
Twinsburg 7, Warren Harding 0
Jadyn Harris and Arriah Gilmer each scored two goals to guide the host Tigers (13-3-1) to a win in a Division I, Cleveland 3 sectional final. Emily Patrzyk, Brenna Utrup and Bree Banach also netted a goal for Twinsburg.
Manchester 12, Elyria Open Door Christian 1
Emma King scored five goals and Lauren Gunsett had five assists to lead the host Panthers (18-0-0) to a win in a Division III, Akron 3 sectional final. Katie Norris contributed three goals and Madison Gunsett had two goals.
VOLLEYBALL
Revere 25-25-25-22-15, Bay Village Bay 21-27-22-25-7
Dakota Drenth's 23 assists and 22 digs helped lead Revere to a Division II, Northeast 4 sectional final win. Jackie Randall added 23 assists for the Minutemen, Anna Freeman recorded 27 kills and Lilly Wojtala had five aces.
Copley 25-25-25, Norton 15-26-20
Shelby Emich had 27 assists and Alyssa Mindzora had 19 digs and four aces to lead Copley (17-7) to a Division II, Northeast 5 sectional title. Copley's Katey Firestine, Allie Poundstone, Moriah Wheeler each had eight kills, and Lydia Pavlovich had four aces.
Walsh Jesuit 25-20-25-25, North Canton Hoover 13-25-20-23
Brooke Norris, Katherine Shaw, Alli Bedrick and Paige Wrabel combined to have 35 kills to lead Walsh to a Division I, Northeast 1 sectional title. Katelyn Devereaux had 14 assists, and the digs leaders were Tea Mammana (24), Shaw (19) and Norris (18) for the Warriors.
FOOTBALL
Firestone 14, Kenmore-Garfield 12
Junior quarterback Prince Winchester ran for two touchdowns and junior Niccolette Bucklew made two extra points to guide the Falcons (4-6, 3-2) to a City Series win over the Golden Rams (5-5, 3-2) at Ellet.
K-G senior Damean Martin and junior Raymond Trice II each ran for a TD. The Rams were unsuccessful on both of their 2-point conversion attempts.
"Our offensive linemen Cordan Williams, Khamoni Jones, Michael Kennedy, Ben Riddle, Demarco Brooks and Jerome Carter played really well," Firestone coach Eric Mitchell said. "The defensive linemen and linebackers played well too. We had some injuries that we had to overcome and we jelled. We were able to get the job done.
"We contained them for the most part. They have a great run game and we knew we would have our hands full. Carlo Johnson gave us a great effort defensively, and so did Cordan Williams, Jaden Zinn, Khamoni Jones, Xavier Lyde and Mark Travis."
